Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes is an American actress best recognized for her role as detective Stella Bonasera in the CBS police procedural drama CSI: NY Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama series Providence as well as the role of Dr. Lane Hunter on the medical drama series The Resident. Her breakthrough role in the role of Eleni andros Cooper in the CBS soap series Guiding Light was also praised. She has appeared in 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians, The Lightning Thief and Snitch. She is reportedly developing a movie adaptation of the writer's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides, the duo who wrote the script for Immortals. Additionally, she's filming an upcoming show called Gods & Heroes.
