David Muir, an American journalist who anchors the ABC News magazine 20, is best known as the co-anchor for World News Tonight With David Muir. With its animated gestures and funny videos of celebrities' gossip, his show has become America's most-watched newscast. Made In America, his Emmy award-winning show, is one of his other achievements. Before he took over ABC World News Tonight he was the anchor in charge for his predecessor Diane Sawyer. He has reported numerous primetime specials for ABC News some recent ones include Breaking Point: Heroin in America and Flashpoint: Refugees in America. He's traveled the world, report on the news from Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti & the Gulf of Mexico. He is the recipient of multiple Emmy Awards, Edward R. Murrow Honors and awards from the Associated Press.
